HR Systems/Data Partner

Fixed Term | £40,000 per annum

We are delighted to be working with a unique Welsh business to help them find a HR Systems/Data Partner.  Our client seeks a HR professional with strong systems and data skills to join a business in a time of change & growth.

The role reports into an experienced and supportive Head of HR who is keen to recruit someone who will liaise with key stakeholders and assess HR data and processes across this fascinating and complex business, in order to develop and execute projects successfully.

This role will be responsible for recommending and implementing improvements and providing high quality data analytics and MI reporting.  This role will also lead on the identification, management, implementation and development of a new HR Information system (HRIS).

As the ideal candidate you will have a HR background/understanding combined with a keen interest and aptitude for systems, with a restless curiosity in data.  You should have strong excel skills and be confident in your relationship building and communication skills.  

This role is being offered on a fixed term basis for a minimum of 12 months. NB: as the business is evolving this could be extended further.

The job

Data Analytics & MI Reporting

  • Be subject matter expert and support the HR team and wider business regarding data analytics and reporting. 
  • Work with the Head of HR and other stakeholders (e.g. line managers, Finance, Payroll) to map all existing HR related process flows, identify waste and redesign, incorporating digital solutions where appropriate. 
  • Assist the HR team and the wider business in ensuring accurate data is provided to Payroll (outsourced) for processing. 
  • Provide insightful and meaningful data to inform management decision making on people activities. 
  • Continually review and evaluate processes and systems to ensure that they continue to be efficient, effective and meet current and future needs.
  • Implement improved HR processes after consultation with team members from other departments.
  • Conduct MI and general HR Metrics reporting in line with business requirements.

HR Information System (HRIS)

  • Lead the planning, execution and delivery of the HRIS, ensuring alignment with the organisational goals and objectives. 
  • Collaborate with HR team, ITC and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives and deliverables. 
  • Use knowledge of the market for HRIS to scope business requirements. 
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets and track progress against milestones to ensure timely completion. 
  • Lead the implementation of the HRIS including testing, fault finding, training and end-user technical support.

The person

  • Educated to degree level in either HR or IT or significant related experience.
  • Detailed working knowledge of HR and payroll systems.
  • Proven track record and experience of HR Data management activities.
  • Proven experience of leading and improving existing HR systems and processes. Proficient in the area of database systems management.
  • Experience of delivering high quality, customer orientated, operational HR Systems and Data services. 
  • Experience of ensuring accurate HR data is provided to Payroll.
  • Experience of collating and analysing data to produce and present statistical reports.
  • Evidence of constructive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across organisational boundaries
  • Knowledge and understanding of the principles of GDPR                 .

Salary & Benefits
